While email marketing remains a powerful strategy to boost your revenue, there are many resources out there that you can leverage on to make your email campaign easier, faster and more effectively.
Here are some of them that I strongly recommend:
Mailloop
The benefit of mailloop is full automation and easy customization. If you want to have less hassle in sending email newsletter and yet achieve the best result, Mailloop is the one to go for.
Mailloop make it very easy for everyone to use. With a few clicks, you can get your email campaign going. You can set up multiple autoresponders up to six months in advance and also automate them so that it will still works while you are sleeping. It is also easy to integrate mailloop to your website so that your customer can subscribe to your newsletter without leaving your website.
A caveat is that it currently works only on Windows Platform. Ever since I switched to Linux, I can only use this software in my virtual machine, which cause its performance to dip. Other than that, this is definitely a great software for someone who is not IT savvy and want to get thing done the fast and easy way.
PHPList
For those technical webmaster who prefer more control over the software, the open source PHPList is a good option to consider.
Being open source means that it is open to modification and alteration and you can customize to suit your needs without having to pay. The existing version of PHPList do contain a comprehensive set of features which you usually have to pay to get it.
Some of the features include:
- easy subscription form setup and website integration
- multiple mailing lists management
- newsletter queueing to prevent mailbox jamming
- bounce report
- email tracking data
This is one of the software that I really like and strongly recommend for someone who like have full control over the system.
One of the thing that I hope it can include in the future version is the ability to spam check every single email so that it won’t accidentally trigger the spam filter.
Aweber
Aweber is a email marketing system where you have to subscribe to use it. Though its subscription is not the cheapest in the market, its service is definitely one of the best. (You can’t really find many bad reviews about them).
One of the feature that I like best is its high percentage of email delivery. I won’t have to spend a day worrying about my newsletter lost in some cyberspace anymore.
If you dislike the idea of installing software on your server and do all the technical stuff, then subscribing to Aweber will save all your trouble. You set up the campaign and let Aweber do everything for you.
GetResponse
GetResponse is another email marketing system just like Aweber. An unique feature for GetResponse is that it provides a lead generation system to help you increase your subscriber base. This is extremely useful for MLM business or any business that requires a lot of leads instantly.
It is important to find out which type of email marketing software or tools is the best for you. By leveraging on the correct vehicle, you will be able to achieve the desirable results easier and faster.
